2026 Founder’s Letter
A personal message from Michael Matassa about why the Foundation was created, what makes its approach different, and how real-world business experience shapes every resource we build.
Dear Community,
I started the Precision Business Education Foundation because there is simply too much talk—and not enough action.
I have seen passionate people with strong ideas struggle, not because they lack work ethic, but because they lack real guidance, real access, and real support from someone who has built and operated businesses hands-on.
There is a difference between giving someone a plan and walking away—and working beside them to execute it.
We do not hand you a binder and wish you luck. We execute it with you.
This Foundation was built on practical experience—understanding where the deficits are, where entrepreneurs get stuck, and what actually moves a business forward.
Hands-on mentoring. Real implementation. Accountability. Results.
LET’S GET TO WORK.
Precision Business Education Foundation
“We do not hand you a binder and wish you luck. We help you understand the work, build the system, and move the business forward.”— Michael Matassa, Founder & President
Why I Started the Foundation
Too many capable entrepreneurs are highly skilled at their craft but were never shown how the business side actually works. The Foundation exists to make practical knowledge more accessible to people who are ready to learn, improve, and build stronger futures.
Close the Knowledge Gap
Teach pricing, cash flow, overhead, systems, customer communication, marketing, and decision-making in practical language.
Turn Learning Into Action
Connect education with calculators, worksheets, templates, launch guides, and implementation tools that owners can actually use.
Strengthen Communities
Help entrepreneurs build more stable businesses that support families, employees, customers, and local economies.
Real-World Business Experience
The Precision Method™ was developed from more than four decades of business ownership, operating experience, technical work, and firsthand problem-solving across multiple industries.
Ownership, Facilities, and Customer Service
Experience designing, building, and operating restaurants while managing employees, subcontractors, equipment, facilities, customers, and day-to-day financial pressures.
Planning, Coordination, and Execution
Hands-on experience with estimating, scheduling, subcontractors, equipment installation, facility systems, project coordination, and operational problem-solving.
Networks, Systems, and Infrastructure
Work in early network encryption, point-of-sale infrastructure, data systems, hardware, and business technology implementation.
Online Sales and Nationwide Fulfillment
Development and operation of an e-commerce platform involving product selection, packaging, logistics, shipping, customer service, and systems design.
Practical Advisory and Peer Perspective
Years of working alongside owners to understand operational challenges, cost structures, customer expectations, and the practical mechanics of running a business.
The Universal Business Fundamentals
Products, services, and crafts may differ, but the operating structure of a strong business is remarkably consistent.
Pricing & Financial Control
Understand costs, overhead, cash flow, break-even, profit, reserves, and the real economics of the work.
Operations & Systems
Build repeatable workflows, documentation, scheduling, quality control, and accountability.
Marketing & Communication
Explain value clearly, attract the right customers, manage expectations, and strengthen trust.
Leadership & Growth
Make informed decisions, manage capacity, develop people, and grow without losing control.
